Belichick is too old and definitely would not be a fit for the college game. He is used to dealing with caps. He would not win many bidding wars in football at UNC. Basketball on the other hand would be a different story.

Yea no kidding. I remember being pumped about that hire. TB did a lot for the football facilities but he was not going to win many of the big ones, or he would win a big one and then lose to Wake. Never could get it all together.
Remember hoping for the opportunity to go to the ACC title game. Seemed we pissed it away every year.

I’m grateful for TB tenure here. Lot of facility improvement and made the program viable again. Just couldn’t quite get over the hump. Came very close

Spent some time around TB at coaches clinics.

He doesn’t have the personality of Dabo but always thought he was a nice guy.

I’ve shared before how he came over and sat with me during one of the lunch periods. Really down to earth guy.
