Lack of focus all together. Really poorly played game. Must have been looking ahead. Players win games coaches lose them. Get them focused coach.

He didn't score either...not a factor at all. I hope he decides to show up Saturday or we get trounced by 30.

just like his performance in Columbia earlier thus year. another bad loss on our resume wont help. We crapped the bed looking ahead to our biggest game in a long time and really took the luster off of it now for saturday. This is our 2nd straight terrible shooting effort, Duke will beat us by 20+ if we shoot this poorly saturday. Brownell did a poor job last nite, early in the game he had Scheff and LAHkin sitting while playing Reeves?? he was clearly looking ahead and it cost us .

Scheff was in foul trouble early, that’s why he wasn’t playing.

He is a problem defensively for the opposing team which is his main utility. Inside, he is not very aggressive, rarely dunks and misses a lot of close shots. He has a decent 3 point shot, but I'm not a fan of having our 6'11" guy beyond the arc.
He also shoots from the free throw line well, but again he is not what he should be down inside.
With him out, we lost a lot of rebounds and GT was better able to get inside.
He'll have to show up and not foul out for us to have a chance against Duke.

Agreed. He went through that pretty long stretch where he was playing really well for us. Hope that returns and is here towards post season.
He's had a few games recently in which he was half bad half good and ended up with a pretty good stat line. But I feel like over the last several games I've seen more bad than good and when he gets in foul trouble immediately and hardly plays that is a big problem for us.

teams that have long athletic players are always a matchup problem for us

especially when we have the yips at the end of the game. 80% of the time chase hits those close shots in the paint like he missed last night. And 80% of the time he doesn't force up 3's as his shot selection for a buzzer beater. There was alot that was just kinda off about last night.
Wiggins decides that he doesn't want the ball in the second half (did hit one 3 in OT) which stinks and is never a rebounder which i can't understand. He's just not an alpha and seems like he's just trying not to be the guy that messes up the game at the end.
Dillon should have traded more time with Heidbreider. I think he could have hit at least one 3 late in that game whereas Dillon is absolutely no threat offensively. Its hard to get a rebound when you've got 3 players in your lineup that are all under 6-5. You're not usually going to win the rebound battle against a team with 4 guys over 6-7.
At the end of the day Chase usually hits one of those shots late and just didn't. We played pretty bad and didn't deserve it. I'd say thats a "C-" game. At GT's "A" game.

CBB never took a shot. The players were 28 of 77 (36%). Probably worst game of year but we kept in it for 3 overtimes. This is a good team, but had a bad night. So did Mich St, Kentucky and Marquette. The AP 25 has 14 teams with 5 or more losses. We could be 21-2 and some would be bi###ing about CBB's collapse in those 2. Relax!

You sure it wasn't the step back 3s at the buzzard when we only needed a point to win?
