Lake Hartwell Fishing

Gonna be staying on Lake Hartwell in Clemson for a few days at the end of the month. Any recommendations on fishing areas? I won't have a boat so I'm looking for areas I can fish off of the bank or pier.

I have always had good luck at Seneca Creek. There is a boat ramp and a little dock there.

You can also walk pretty far along the bank to fish.

Another good spot is below Madden Bridge. There is a little pier there for fishing, or you can walk down the bank to the bottom of the bridge.

Honestly I don't know. I recently picked up fishing back up as a hobby and just enjoy doing it. My experience with fishing is mostly a tub of night crawlers and a zebco 33 lol. I do plan to check the fishing report before I go and see what's biting so I can bring a variety of bait/lures.

If the fish are not biting make sure you are! Skins hit dogs will do the trick. Have fun!
