Just got back from spiking out in the wilderness on a fire in Washington, and saw that Kris Benson will be inducted into the college baseball Hall of Fame in 2026. He was a little before my time at Clemson but I remember him quite well in the Majors. Go Tigers!

He’ll be the 3rd. Joining Bill Wilhelm and Rusty Adkins. To be honest, I don’t remember these guys. They were before my time.

The next has got to be Khalil Greene, he played from 1999-2002. I do know how great he was though.

Khalil was simply incredible while at CU. His last year was about the best hitting season ever. If he didn’t hit a HR, it was a double. His defense was fantastic too. Very deserving next HOFer.

You would remember Rusty if you had ever seen him play ..... two or three time All_American ..... batted over .400 one year with ZERO strike-outs. That has to be a record, but I am not sure they keep that statistic .... or at least I could not find it. Rusty was fast as lightning, but his arm was average at best .... thus played second base.
