Is gonna get targeted more this year. He has made a few big plays with a very low snap count. I have high expectations for him.

He looked a good size last year, but a little fluffy. He only dropped a few pounds, he’s probably faster and stronger than last year just a little lighter. A guy with his athleticism doesn’t need to bulk up just to bulk up. And the rest of the room looks to be 240 plus and probably carry it a little more naturally.

same weight as Brock Bowers and Kyle Pitts were in college who both won Mackey Awards...so no.

What I first thought when seeing him drop weight is he is going to be used more as a WR/TE hybrid than a true TE. He was better at getting open than a lot of our starters at WR, and maybe they will put him out there to block when we run everyone’s favorite bubble screen.
