Josh Pate Dropped A ACC Bomb

On his Sunday night podcast. He stated that as we enter the July college football landscape it will look completely different when we exit July. FSU will drop a bomb and it will effect several schools. The SEC and the BIG will be involved. He stated he had no idea what was going to happen or when. Pretty iffy on his part.
He usually does not throw chit out just to see if it will stick. I have my thoughts on what I think is going to happen, but will wait and see if I'm correct. Does not matter what I think about the issue, but I do still think FSU announces by Aug.. 15, 2024 they are leaving ACC at end of 2024 season. I don't think the court cases are going well for the ACC.

I believe it.
Clemson is hated by many SEC and Big 10 fans. (USC, UGA, TENNESSEE, BAMA, Ohio St….).
Big 10 would stink for Clemson.
We have been a stepchild in the ACC for decades, and our status will not improve in the SEC.
BUT we will get paid more for being hated if it happens.

Don't end up in your conference. SEC first BECAUSE we are Southern but Big 10 reluctantly if not SEC.

All of this realignment is only going to last a few years when all the Div 1 form a college football league and be back with teams in their regional district as far as divisions.

Once the dust settles, USC and Texas are gonna break out and form their own regional conference.

I would agree that an exit is inevitable. Key word used by you and everyone else is “may” not “will” regarding timing. I think - based on reading nothing - that it is entirely possible we could see a positive legal opinion yet remain in the ACC for time being as to not yet having an official destination available to us. But don’t matter what aim or others think as what will happen will happen. Just like most events in the world, I have zero influence over this topic.
Mostly I just pay attention to this because junk yard tiger® gets so excited and passionate as the lead TNet content aggregator on this topic.
