How long until the A&M fans turn on his and realize he is an imposter?
LSU beat them 50-7. He will leave them or will be fired by them. They will look like FSU when he is finished.

Jimbo is an offensive coach but I think he has gotten a little behind... his scheme is a little stale. If he doesnt add some updated stuff, his time at aTm will be like the last 3-4 years of Les Miles times at LSU when he refused to update.
If Jimbo wants to take aTm forward, he should hire Chad Morris as OC (if Chad doesnt take a Go5 HC spot) and freshen up a bit.

Yeah he is an aTm alum too. He gets in their and gets that offense going next year, maybe he gets another chance and takes over when Jimbo retires.

when he came here he had some new ideas from high school that worked well. Now, his old ideas don't work any more.

as I mentioned in another post, may be looking long term. He can wait out Saban and Bama and slowly build a solid/ sustainable program (aTm has the resources). He does need a game-changer at QB soon.

I do see he has the 6th ranked recruiting class with the a 5 star wr and a 4 star QB who is the 2nd rated dual QB. Maybe he will upgrade talent over a few years. He will need special talent to make up for his flaws imo.

Character matters more than tactical prowess at the Head Coach position. Jimbo is suspect in that department.

Jimbo is so overrated. For an “offensive guru” his teams sure struggle to look even competent on offense. All that money for what?
