Most of Dabo's wins as a HC has come by his ability to recruit over his ability to coach!!!

Not only is this a stupid comment, it's a lazy one as well. There isn't a coach out there with sustained success that does not have superlative recruiting. They go hand in hand. Talent does not promise wins and neither does exceptional coaching.

You could almost say that for anyone, nobody is winning with crap talent. Hiring the right OC and DC is also a big deal, they're the ones that make the most decisions in the game.

Dabo isn’t doing anything different, as far as portal use philosophy, than he’s done since 2021.
(1). Use portal to fill glaring team needs. (2). Only pursue portal players that are high end talent. (3). Cultural fit (not easy to find wives criteria (1) and (2) must simultaneously be met). (4). KEY ASPECT - the player had to also choose us after we pursued him. (Not for this team just ‘goes and gets’ a portal players.)
Looking back: 2021 season, our roster had no clear cut Center. Remember the Bockhorst (very good at Guard, not so much at Venter) UVA center Ogendeko. Absolute stud center, proven talent. We came in 2nd place for him (he chose Michigan instead of us). There were no other obviously superior-to-players-already-on-our-roster candidates in the portal at the Center position that wanted to come to Clemson.
(*). So, just stop it already with those ignorant comments that ‘Dabo is too stubborn to use the portal’ stuff. The people who say that are ignorant. Don’t be one of them.

With no D Cord in place and not knowing what our base defense will be it’s hard to say. My guess is LB somewhere. Hopefully we don’t lose anyone.

No can do. We’re closing the borders. And also, there will be a tariff on NIL money paid to foreigners. But this will be anti-inflationary because we are going to import bananas from Steve Banon’s plantation in Greenland. No need to stay near your puters, all is well.

Ya’ll must be naïve if you think this has anything to do with TDS, Trump is too stubborn, he refuses to use the portal, and Australia is too far by boat, and would the Australian punter be able to navigate the boat through the Panama Canal when it’s operated by the Chinese, No whining here, just genuinely enjoying the entertainment and BT dubs some of you must be unaware of the inverse relationship between the prices of apples and oranges and bananas, brush up on your econ.

Hopefully no one leaves.
Kobe McCloud was the first LB off the bench for us at the very early stages of 2024 season. We’ll need him in the 2025 season. He’s not blazing fast like his brother Ray Ray (currently a WR on Atlanta Falcons), but Kobe is very fast for a LB.

My sister’s cousin’s uncle’s brother’s best friend said he talked to a guy at the Ingles in downtown Clemson who heard from a friend of a friend who once sat behind the guy who used to be a friend of the guy who cleaned the toilets in Death Valley. That guy said after game days the toilets are almost always dirty! Just remember you heard it here first!

If Clemson is able to land Mr Campbell, and this is a gut reaction, he will blossom and will play on Sundays in a couple of years. I'm super excited about the addition of Heldt, and even more excited if Clemson lands Campbell. Either way I am super excited.... Go Tigers!!

If you are referencing Alabama’s Jihad Campbell (who was Alabama’s starting Middle LB last year and an absolute stud), then that’s new news.
Campbell just finished his Jr. season and is allegedly deciding whether or not to enter the NFL draft.
I hope you’ve got some insights that he’ll come to Clemson instead of staying at Bama or going to the NFL. I suspect that you may be thinking about Jeremiah Alexander as opposed to Jihad Campbell.

I am much more excited about Heldt. This guy wasn’t a five star but he has produced on a college level. Alexander on the other hand hasn’t contributed anything in a few years on a down Alabama defense. Are we even sure he is better than what we have on the roster now?
