I've heard some about incoming freshman Davidson being really good. I heard about Randell being moved to RB and showing promise. But whatever happened to Jay Hayes? He showed real promise filling in for Maffa last year before he got injured on that kick off return vs SMU (gotta fair catch those)
Is he still out with that injury? I figured he woukd be #1 on the depth chart if he's healthy.

ACL recovery isn’t a 4 or 5 month rehab. Typically an athlete (especially a RB) has to go through the process of trusting the knee once healthy. I have little expectation he will be a regular in the rotation this fall as he works his way back.
