Jalen Hurts just signed a 5 year contract extension for $255 million. ThAT'S $51 million yr. NFL plays 17 reg. season games. Let's say he plays in one post season game. That's 18 games divided by $51 equals $2,833,000 per game. Let's say offense is on field half of the 60 mins. 30 minutes divided by $2,833,000 is $94,400 per minute. I was never good at math, kinda like Brownie never being good at coaching, so if my math is as bad as Brownie's coaching, unlike Brownie, you can fire me.
I'd say, a pretty good day's pay for Hurts. Guess he now makes more than DW. Will Treavor get that kind of pay? Hope so. Hard to talk about NIL money when that kind of money is being handed out in the NFL. Maybe some of the college "Jalen Hurts" QB's are worth a few million a year of NIL loot.

179 million guaranteed, he took a tram friendly deal so they can pay others and restructure it every couple years. Always look at the guaranteed money and contract details not the big number.

Since all you want to do is complain about our basketball coach, who led our team to our record number of ACC wins this year and has won more games than any coach we have ever had, I have no idea what your point was supposed to be. Athletes make ridiculous sums of money but this is where we are in sport today so there is no story there.

What ever the actual number is, a football player just doesn’t bring that kind of value to humanity. Period. Cure cancer, end war, feed the starving, get rid of corruption then I’ll think you deserve that kind of pay.
