Yeah I want him gone, but the week before the ACCCG isn’t the time to do it. Honestly Dabo will probably wait til after the season entirely if we win since there’s only 2 weeks between Saturday and the first round

Canning an incompetent DC and turning it over to a veteran play caller in whammy 4 days before the ACCCG or letting your players and recruits know that you plan to fix the problem 7 days before the portal opens?

It's more important to solve the actual problem than just throwing darts at the board. The fundamental problem is talent. Firing Goodwin will not solve that problem.

yes he is a terrible recruiter on top of being an inexperienced coach. Dabo deserves as much blame though for letting Sammy Brown sit the 4th quarter .

field. But the defense did give up just 17 points.
Against UGA it was 7-0 at halftime after the defense was on the field the majority of the time.
The Louisville game was bad but once again we kept our defense on the field way too long.
Citadel showed we weren't as speedy against the option as we used to be. I do believe that is the one area where Goodwin isn't living up to Venables.
But honestly, do you really put the issues of this team on Wes Goodwin?

Next week, it's Swinney if they lose. Or Goodwin if they don't win big enough. Or Riley if they don't win flashy enough.
Or all three. What it can't ever be is just a loss. It must always be an existential crisis.
