Is it possible?

Is it possible that LSU and GA Tech are the 2 best teams we play this year? Is it possible that we have 2 close losses to 2 very good teams? One on the road, where the opposing team kicked a record long FG to beat us on the last play of the game? The other at home where Tyler Brown was open on 4th down for the tying TD, if only Cade had seen him? Is it possible the sky, in fact, is NOT falling?

Maybe not. But I wouldn’t be surprised if we ran the table either. Realistically I think we lose one or two more.

Any team better than Troy will be tough for us to beat. And as teams get more film on what works against us, and our coaching brain trust has no idea how to adjust, it will get tougher.

Even if that were the case, go watch the Troy game. We are a good 8-4 team and nothing more

This would be more valid if we also didn’t struggle mightily against Troy, no matter who the opponent is, seems like we will have a tough go of it.

We will probably struggle against FSU and Louisville. I expect close games with SMU, SC, maybe Pitt, maybe Duke. All of those games are loseable. They are also all winnable. We will see. But I don’t expect any one of them to blow us out

So it’s not possible that LSU and GA Tech are better than FSU and Louisville? Not even remotely possible?

They do look good this year. I think we will likely lose that one unless the light finally comes on for our offense. But 9-3 seems pretty realistic to me. As poorly as we’ve played so far this season, we had a realistic chance to win all 3 games. There’s no reason to believe that won’t continue to be the case

I think SMU, Florida State, and South Carolina are all.as good as Gtsch.

Time will tell. But I disagree about SMU and SC. Maybe FSU. But I will be surprised if GA Tech isn’t undefeated in conference. Take a look at their schedule. They are likely to be undefeated heading into a rematch with Georgia in Atlanta. And we all remember how that ended last year in Athens

Agreed, SMU doesn't look that great. Louisville will be a loss because once again Dabo and his staff will be schooled by Brahm.

Clover, it is totally possible that we may still win 9 games this season, but from what I’ve seen I feel 8… maybe 9 is probably the best we can expect. Obviously our team is not a national championship contender, but I will still pull for my Tigers each and every week in all sports. Go Tigers!!!

I agree. Not a national championship contender. A very good season is still on the table though. And who knows? Maybe we got hot late and make a run. Go Tigers! Just trying to spread an little optimism. These players work hard and deserve our support instead of all the constant negativity

Unfortunately, I, who love the Tigers, am afraid that the worse is yet to come. I hope I am wrong, but I am usually right in my sentiments.
