I don’t know how they keep Ferentz as coach. Just horrendous offense and game flow.

How many bowl games has he won? 3 or 4. Seems like every year they’re blowing a 4th quarter lead. Not that we’re any different lately but not for 30 years.

He is 10-11 in bowl games and Iowa doesn’t play Toledo . They usually play a SEC team that’s in the top third of the league . I find people who say “fire Kirk” to simply not understand football and the limitations . He is coaching in IOWA. Horrific in state talent. They have to build everything they have . Dabo would have been canned two decades ago if he was coaching in Iowa . Iowa HAS to play the style they play and if you let them sit on the ball are you aren’t named Alabama or Ohio state they will beat you .

So basically no achievements in the last 10 years it seems. The forward pass has passed him by. They are scared what happened to Nebraska will happen to them once they stop throwing rocks on offense.
