including 18-2 in the ACC and wins over Kentucky, Duke, and North Carolina, I believe you would have said, ABSOLUTELY!
I certainly would have. Incredible season! The best regular season in program history in my opinion. Outstanding job by our coaches and players!
Excited for the ACC Tournament and what will possibly be our highest seed ever in the NCAA Tournament.

This is why rational discussions are so rare here.

Maybe you’re right, but if you are, this post by him was weak and did not accomplish anything as far as your theory goes.
I just try to read stuff as it’s written. Is 90% of his stuff aimed at divisiveness and/or skewing towards Brad and away from Dabo? Sure. Does he himself read into things that aren’t there? 100%.
But facts are facts. Emotions don’t change that. Nor does perception.

It’s amazing to see how involved Dabo has been sacrificing money by not spending in the portal the last 3 years taking from the football program/supporters and iptay.
He’s really given Brad the advice and help 💰 the program needed to get going with facilities in an advisory role helping Neff too.
I’m so proud of him and Brad being humble enough to accept the advice/help.
Dabo may end up in an athletic director one of these days too, Wink wink!

JK, I will be honest, when I looked at this group in pre-season, I never saw this coming. How in the world BB got 12 roll players to fit perfectly into this team and produce as a group is something I did not foresee. If Coach Brownell is not Coach of the Year in the ACC, then something is bad wrong with the system. Great job, Coach!!

Louisville's coach is a lock for Coach of the Year. They had like 6 wins last year and they ended up the #2 seed this year.
And to JK's point, I never forecasted this great of a regular season at the beginning of the year.

I suspect any fan of any team in the nation would be happy with that record if presented with it in the preseason. That is a solid record for ANY program, any year. It is hard to win them all in basketball (or really any sport) and a lot of things can happen over the course of a season.
Great regular season, Tigers! Now let's make some noise in the postseason again!

I had as us at 27-4 in the regular season in my preseason prediction. However, I’m not the type of guy to get on here and let my disappointment show. I’m still proud of this team

Clemson certainly has had a great season. Beating my expectations. Where you lost me was you saying it was the best regular season in history. Winning the regular season championship is still better than finishing 3rd, but this year has been outstanding. It is unfortunate we no longer play each team twice, home and away. I think at home we had a good shot at beating Louisville , not sure about beating Duke at Cameron, but you never know. Unc we beat at home, but I think we would have beaten them in chapel hill. They had a horrible year, but always have talent.
The ncaa tournament will define this years squad, not the regular season. Combination of expectations and ACC talent. We can make some noise in the dance. Let’s get it done!

It's been a great ride. I think I've only missed 2 home games this season and have been very impressed with the effort and unselfish play each and every game.
I will also say the "officiating" has been poor. It would appear that very soon, fouls will only be called for broken bones, concussions or at least a unit of blood loss. Long jumpers are apparently being recruited to take the ball to the hoop. Calling a walk must be considered bad form by the zebras.
Having said that, the refs are consistent in letting most everything go for Clemson as well, but just once this season, I would appreciate Brad working the refs just a bit more and even drawing a T at times to protect our guys.
The above is telling as there is very, very little to pick apart on the players or coaches.
I'm very pleased with the regular season record and hope our guys stay healthy and continue to play up to their ability. Any time there is the possibility of going home after one game, as some nights the other team is red hot and you're not. This team when hitting on all cylinders is capable of beating anybody and hopefully that is what we see.
Well done, Clemson players, Coach Brownell and staff.

Was definitely potential but a bit of a backslide was also in realm of possibility w/ Hall & Girard's departures.
Retrospect, kinda sucks that 18-2 in ACC only got us a 3-seed when virtually any other season it's ACC regular season title & 1-seed for the tournament. Would've been awfully nice to put RS trophy/banner in the building but do feel like this team will be hungry & capable to finally break the glass ceiling in Charlotte. Strong showing in Charlotte & another deep run in NCAAT, we're talking about a 30+ win Clemson...really hope our guys finish strong & write a finish to the story that Tiger fans can enjoy for years to come.
