job was a complete disaster. Chadwell has won at every stop. No hire is a guarantee, but I keep seeing these guys succeed (Petersen, DeBoer, Leipold, Kleiman, etc) when given an opportunity while the hot shot coordinators and the guys with "SEC ties" and all that nonsense repeatedly fail.
And if you think Clemson is going to be able to steal somebody like Lanning, Sark, DeBoer, etc i think you will find yourself disappointed. Hopefully the need doesn't arise, but I think somebody like Chadwell is exactly the pool we will be fishing in.

Dabo will not leave Clemson. Alabama will hire Lanning. He was on campus at Tuscaloosa a couple of months ago for this purpose. According to my Alabama friends, it's pretty much a done deal.
