I see a raise and extension in his future.
12 mill is a nice round number

I hope so. We need the extra practice and getting returning players more reps.
Sit everyone not returning next season!

Seriously. We'll make a bowl at 6-6. It'll be hard for us to lose 3 more games... let alone 4. We have 4 guaranteed wins in unc, bc, smu, and Furman. That's 5. Dook, Louisville and scar about the same level. I'm not saying a couple could be fairly close 7-10 pt dubs. I'll concede the fsu game but imo anything less than 8-4, major changes need to occur.
But it depends on how we look.

What a loser mentality ! Preseason title expectations to making a bowl is a massive fail !

IMO they should hold off on any raises for all of our coaches until they get back to playing the Clemson they were playing when they were hired, especially with Dabo!!!

My Tiger friend, the product on the field this year, though terribly disappointing to us all, is light years ahead of what we were fielding when Dabo was hired. You talk like Dabo came on board in 2015 and we played for the National Championship. Dabo became our HC in 2008. We didn't have 10 wins until 2011. So be careful what you ask for. Go Tigers!

We are worse now than we were in 2008.

I am pretty sure all of Tommy Bowden’s teams were better than this year’s team.
He never had a losing record.

Not less talented though and that's really where a lot of the issues start.

This team has no dog in them. They act like they are entitled to compete for a national title and once that is out the window their pride goes with it.
Definitely more talent than the Bowden teams and well underperforming.
I truly believe once Venables left we lost the work ethic, fire and demand for perfection that we saw during the playoff and title run years. As those players filtered out the team slowly declined. Last year was an anomaly as we we lucked into the ACC championship.
We have a long climb back up and it won't happen without significant change in the staff and some very good recruiting or portal acquisitions.

I am a fan of Dabo but would not support a raise of even $1 if we finish the season out with all W's. This would be the same as paying a CEO of a company like Home Depot millions for losing money, shareholder value, etc. Any coach being paid what he is should have at least 10 wins per regular season. Especially with the schedule we have.

No raise and especially NO extension! Even winning out in the cupcake conference doesn't cut it. Start winning the big games again!
