Would we have won the national championship? Imagine David Young and Campbell/Davis in the high low. Imagine us hitting free throws. Game changer.

Even the guards couldn't shoot. The best FT shooter was Cash at 63%. Everyone else was in the 50's. They would have won the natty if they averaged just 70%.

That assumes the opposing team(s) would have employed the same strategy. I remember game after game where we would go up and then all they had to do was foul us, put us on the line effectively creating a turnover. I feel like opponents strategy would have shifted if we were hitting free throws in the 70% range.
