Contract concessions with Aramark. Clemson could have great food contractors for 7 weeks of football. But there has been no effort put into concessions. Make changes Mr Neff!

If Aramark has a monopoly, they need to outsource.

One would think there would be more money to be made with better concessions. It's sad when you go to a stadium like Liberty and you can buy a Chick-fil-a sandwich. BBQ, Pizza etc. at their football stadium.

#### even at Williams Cockroach Brice, you can get Asian food, little Caesar’s pizza, bojangles, and docs BBQ. What are we doing wrong in the valley?

Honestly, I ran concessions for a baseball game at my school once. The food quality was the same. I remember one night for a basketball game we had the girl scouts set up selling cookies. Upset of a top 25 team in NC also was nice

Wake Forest has much better concessions than Clemson, even fresh Krispy Kreme.
Gotta believe there’s 2 or 3 in the athletic department whose entire families have free access to a 2BR 1.5BA condo in Myrtle Beach anytime they want it as long as Aramark is the sole supplier to Clemson. Gotta be something crooked going on cause the food has only gotten worse and worse the last 4 or 5 years. Whomever was providing the pizza last Saturday was completely out by the 3rd inning last Saturday night. You really can’t try to screw up the concessions at Clemson any worse.
And no, no one cares if you don’t eat or drink anything at the games and couldn’t care less about how bad it is. It’s embarrassing as far as just the visiting fans experiencing it. Heck, even Duke has at least stepped their game up the last visit there in 2023.

kickbacks for contracting with Aramark that they negotiated something better than a 2 bedroom condo in Myrtle. If that was the best they could negotiate then we need a change in leadership.

The athletic department does not contract the food service vendors. Clemson has a procurement department that buys pretty much everything for the University. They even get involved in specialty equipment for labs and that type of stuff. They are buyers, pure and simple, and as is the case with most larger entities, they buy a lot of stuff that they have no knowledge about. But they are trained to negotiate contracts and save their employer money. It’s all about saving a dollar and as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.

I don’t think Dabo negotiates food vendor contracting for the university. Therefore, Best is The Standard does not apply.

You think it’s bad at Death Valley, try the chicken fingers at Doug Kingsmore. $12 for three fingers that I swear were recycled hockey pucks. Until this year they had a local Popcorn and Carmel corn vendor that had the best carmel corn ever, suspiciously they’re gone.
