When he was getting piled on, I pointed out that only Lincoln Riley had better success as QB coach than what Streeter was producing over their long tenures. Today I still don't know who has been more effective than those two. The past two years Streeter has been with Carson Beck and UGA as an analyst. Am I wrong here?
He has a bright future ahead and thankful he was around for our best days.
Go Tigers!

But...yeah sure. He's a former Tiger so of course we wish him well.
But a change was needed. Dabo made the right call.

Thrilled with Riley and the style and ingenuity we're seeing play out when called upon. I feel like we're still just seeing the beginning of our capabilities on offense, and we've shown quite a lot since the opener.
Just giving Streets some props that he deserves. Great player and IMO Top 2 in QB success under his tutelage.

I wouldn't say you're wrong here. What are you saying; is more along the lines of what I would ask.
Streeter was the beneficiary of generational talent - and then DJU came.
Beck is one of those cold-blooded stays calm under pressure QB's but Streeter is an analyst not the QB coach or OC!
I wish Streeter well, of course! He will forever be a Clemson man.
I don't think Dabo was wrong for sending him packing. And, I am not ready to give him this QB whisperer title( or nothing along those lines). Lincoln Riley perhaps deserves that title. Not sure Streeter qualifies just yet in my humble opinion.
Elliott and Scott and the Morris foundation offense and generational talent was more the reason over what they were learning from Streeter from my "outside perspective".

In my similar and outside humble opinion, Dabo hiring Riley was pretty much a reset on the Morris / Scott / Elliott / Streeter chain yet in the same vein of high power dynamics. Over his years he would visit different programs with the staff and share and explore variations. Time to take it a step further. That's why he's the champ.

I will agree the OL coach should have been gone first. However, if Dabo relied on Streeter’s assessment of dju over Cade.🤷

Cade has his opportunities as a Freshman as DJ led us to an 8-0 start and CFP opening poll in.
DJ had easily his most successful year in 2022 after his lousy 1st year starter performance under Streeter. Before the ND game and the open date, DJ was in Heisman talk and his YTD numbers matched both of the prior generational talents of DW and TL. The stats are available for all to see.
On the OL coach, I'm happy that Dabo waited to make a change until the ideal fit was available. Timing is everything.

DJ has made more than Streeter these past two years most likely. The progress Streeter guided DJ through from Year 1 to Year 2 as starter set the stage for DJ to prosper afterwards, while Street got the street. Life and games, huh?

I am convinced that the "Cade's not ready" business was due to so much time a in d effort being put into getting DJ ready to play, Cade did not get enough first team reps for the coaches to be confident in him.

There was no successful year anywhere under DJU...not here not there, not anywhere! Nice kid but disaster case as QB...Norvell looks like a bigger idiot than the two who came before...Streeter had to handle DJU, he was Dabos recruit...remember the buck stops here? You can't make up an offense for DJU and Streeter had to fall on the sword cause Tony got a new gig! Everyone makes a mistake and Dabo can fix his, remember KB? He was much more mobile than DJU! CCC will survive and flourish!

But it's not dumb luck either. Just in case, I'll trade Cole Stoudt vs OK over whatever he's contributed at UGA if that suits. We don't have to assume on the prior.

I will always respect Street for the way he handled his dismissal. He was classy, and while I am sure bitterly disappointed, he was a true professional in every way.

Cool. Name a few better QB coaches the past decade outside of Lincoln Riley to back that up?

First, stupid marker. Most coaches don't stay at a place very long if they're excellent. They get promoted and go elsewhere. Streeter just had a cushy job at Clemson and no one else wanted him as a coach (hence why he's not a coach now). But better QB coaches:
David Cutcliffe: Obviously. Maybe the most famous QB coach ever.
Lane Kiffin: I don't think this needs explanation.
Steve Sarkisian: He obviously was the reason USC was considers QBU. At Alabama, he coached Hurts, Tua, and Mac Jones. He currently is coaching two first round QBs (obviously Ewers will go top 10 picks, and if you think Manning won't, I have a bridge to sell you).
Jeff Tedford: He's had what, 10 NFL quarterbacks, including multiple Super Bowl winners and Aaron Rodgers?
Phil Longo: 5 different NFL QBs across three different teams?
Ryan Day: He has had significantly more NFL QBs than we've had (4 of his 5 QBs were first round picks) and they've achieved more NFL success, with Stroud being maybe the top QB in the last two seasons.
Should I keep going? I've also already showed you why praising Streeter is BS.

Nice list. I'll look into these guys and see how this is checking out. Much appreesh.
Not crazy about the hostility though. Dang. Ease up.
Despite what pro coaches are saying both TL and DW were more effective in their first 3 years in the NFL before all that pro coaching kicked in then since? Both got resigned to Top 10 NFL paydays if not better recently. Not too shabby.
Lots of good QB coaches out there, no doubt. Streeter is one of them. He maxed out his time here as both QB and OC, and now he's resetting from there. Sark and Kiffin both did the same thing, without Streeter's prior pedigree. Yes?

I don't agree. Deshaun did not like Streeter and hired an independent QB coach to develop his fundamentals. It was kind of controversial when that news came out. Kelly Bryant worked with Streeter and never developed as a passer at all. Hunter Johnson worked with Streeter and was one of the biggest 5 Star busts we've had. Chase Brice only became a better a passing QB after he left Clemson and began working with Cutcliffe. Trevor was obviously a beast of a college QB, but I would argue his fundamentals got worse over his time at Clemson. Doug Pederson had an interview where he said Trevor had sky-high potential but had really bad habits that they had to completely unlearn. DJ obviously never worked out as well.
I don't see a single quarterback who improved their passing ability under Streeter. This isn't shocking, since Streeter was one of our worst QBs statistically in history and washed out lightning fast from the Cobras. Streeter is the definition of one of Dabo's nepotistic hires, and everything he touched turned to ####.

KB reached his ceiling the year Alabama loaded up the box for nearly the entire semifinal of the CFP because he wouldn't/couldn't complete a pass of more 10 yds.

There are technical issues a coach can deal with. Bad habits can be broken but coaches, as much as they try are not psychiatrist. No amount of coaching can prevent post snap brain death and speed can't be coached either.
DJ needs to be returned to the manufacturer for a rebuild.
