I miss DW and TL

There were a bunch of clips of their games on tiktok this morning and it was so great to see. DW won a lot of games in the 4th quarter…a reflection of total team strength or lack thereof. He won the hearts of Tiger fans because he just would not lose!
Conversely TL won a lot of games in the first half and played token minutes in the second half. We had great defenses but i think TL’s years were the best.
Anyway just a thought.

Deshaun Watson: Never felt that we would lose. He just took over games and was truly a Michael Jordan.

Trevor Lawrence: Hearing his throws POW and BOOM off the brick walls at Memorial Stadium - i've never seen such a cannon of an arm. And the precision of his ball placement. generational

their antics and energy were infectious. I wish we had that type of leadership on offense these days. the whole silent stealth yoga inner peace approach makes me tired at times... hoping Cade can light it up, but that's been my hope for 3 years now

We must be watching different players. Cade definitely has more energy that Bryant, and it’s not close.

KB - 18 of 36 for 124 yards 0 touchdowns, 2 interceptions and 3.4 yards per attempt for a QBR of 31.7 for a grand total of 6 points.

CK - 26 of 43 for 336 yards 3 touchdowns and 1 interception(best performance against top Texas defense all year) and 7.8 yards per attempt with a QBR of 81.5 and 24 points with no running game and less experienced talent at wideout.

Something tells me you never saw KB play. He was the weak link or we most likely would have won 3 straight championships.

Bryant was a mediocre talent on an uber talented championship level team who, a season after throwing 36 passes for 124 yards, 0 TDs and 2 Ints against Alabama lost his starting job and quit midseason.

mentioned in the convo with DW & TL..and at this stage CK is a significantly better QB than Bryant was. Bama wouldn't have stacked the box in the CFP semis with CK at the helm-

Oh but you scarecrow (receivers, RBs and OL), I miss you most of all. Dorothy was right and isn't it funny that the better the supporting cast, the better the QB1 is. Happy Birthday America.
