We just beat a bad Florida State team — let’s not kid ourselves. The defense had plenty of busted coverages that FSU just wasn’t good enough to take advantage of. Before anyone says Dabo’s “turning things around,” let’s see what happens in the offseason. If he’s finally willing to overhaul his staff and hit the transfer portal hard, then maybe there’s hope. But this win means absolutely nothing if he doesn’t own the offseason and make serious changes. Louisville on Friday will be a real test. I gave up the delusional Clemson fan mindset a few years ago, and honestly, it’s a lot clearer from out here.

—- A win is always good but the ACC is a complete dumpster fire. No one in the conference deserves to be in the playoffs. Clemson didn’t last year either, really. An ACC team hasn’t won a playoff game since 2019 and likely won’t this year either. The conference is a joke.
I think Dabo will do well enough to keep his job for the foreseeable future but he and the staff are overpaid for what you’ve getting. You’re paying a top five national staff salary for results that haven’t even been top ten since 2020 in spite of the advantage of an ACC schedule.

... Yes, I agree, I'd much prefer Louisville hadn't lost Saturday, and maybe the Tigers could catch them unawares.
Yeah, it's just one win - the season hasn't straightened out altogether, but it's a step in the right direction at least. FSU did commit a lot of unforced errors on offense, so there's still a lot to fix that didn't end up costing the game, but still I'll take it.
