I only caught snippets from the President's speech yesterday re: COVID, but read the official WH transcript today. I presume he was dialed in to his teleprompter.
Here we go:
1)"The bottom line: We're going to protect vaccinated workers from unvaccinated co-workers." Interesting!
2)"If you want to work with the federal government and do business with us, get vaccinated." However, Congress itself is exempt.
3)"But as the science makes clear, if you're fully vaccinated, you're highly protected from severe illness, even if you get COVID-19. In fact, recent data indicates there is only one confirmed case per 5,000 fully vaccinated Americans per day."
"You're as safe as possible , and we're doing everything we can to keep it that way- keep it that way, keep you safe."

I support the vaccine, took it and based on my age will soon take the 3rd shot. However, Biden is ill equipped to lead us. I oppose his mandate as I do not feel he has the authority to push this on the private sector using OSHA as the vehicle to do this.
Has a coherent argument been made by him why Congress and Congressional staffers are exempt, why illegals are exempt and why he is pushing a full 2 vaccine regimen on people who have had COVID? So we must vaccinate the unvaccinated to protect the vaccinated although the vaccinated are as safe as possible?
And we wonder why people are mistrustful and reluctant to take the vaccine? It's a shame and Biden is making things worse not better in my opinion.
it is what it is, unless it isn't and then it is not what it wasn't and more like what it shall be and that is the same as what it could be or possibly should be and that is what it is!
