not good.
It's a purple hat with on Orange Paw. But 2 different people have asked me if I go to Auburn. One in Milan Italy and one in Denver Colorado.

You could wear a striped shirt with #'s on the back and be mistaken for a coot if you prefer.

haha, that's funny. Well, if they're confusing the paw...

for Auburn, then they obviously aren't too big of college football fans, so I wouldn't pay too much attention to it. Tell them you're a CLEMSON Tiger, and if they haven't heard about us, then tell them to look us up sometime and to RESPECT the paw.
Go Tigers, CLEMSON Tigers!

The paw Clemson has is a registered trademark, as I

understand it, but, here in Georgia, I have seen at least one truck with OUR paw on it, but the school was Auburn. As we know, Clemson's paw is the imprint of a real tiger's paw, thus the distinctive marks. The little notch is what I look for, and this guy's sticker had that notch on the paw.
I know a paw itself is not just Clemson's, but we all know Clemson't paw has been around a long time, and it is distinctive to Clemson.

Not sure what you mean by "nothing familiar here," but

yeah, that is what I saw.
However, it was slanted like ours is, and the notch is there. I certainly didn't have time to compare all of the details with ours, considering that it was on a moving truck, but that is way too close to ours.

GO WEST, YOUNG MAN!

What this means is it's time we get in- AND WIN- BCS bowls.
Heisman's 1st Tigers are well known worldwide now because of their championship trophy. From a friend in Brazil: A lot of people in other countries love our style of "football", but all they get on TV are NFL and BCS bowls.
Likewise, the SEC, Big 10, Big East, and ACC ain't big shizz out west. I know this from when I was stationed in Colorado and Sunnyvale. It's 2011, and it's a different style of football in the Pac 12 and Big 12 (and their satellite MWC), and it's WAY more advanced now than any "SEC speed" crap. They are efin fast now out west. The Big 10 is about to find that out from our 1981 foe, the Cornhuskers. Georgia's about to get a whole summer's worth of enlightenment on September 3rd. Cam Newton wasn't even able to do his usual grin and victory lap because he was so worn down by the Pac 12 Ducks. . .but that pay to play fella was the only thing that tested them and won, so of course they're going to remember Auburn in Denver.
We've got Morris this year, and we're a buttload quicker than 2010. The others in our conference and our rivals' conference are not evolving. We're getting western and going cowboy. Therefore, hang your stetson hat on people all around knowing what that paw with the little notch means by next January. . . .

it's this logo...

I wonder if the manager is wondering why they never sell any. I didn't have the heart to tell him.

...not exactly hotbeds of college sports.
If it were Atlanta, Charlotte, Greenville, or Charleston, I might be concerned.

I was in Alabama in December this past year and I went to

Red Lobster about 30 minutes from the University of Alabama. I was wearing an orange shirt with a white paw on it and the waitress said, 'Oh, so you are a Clemson fan.'
Odds are, the people who asked you if you go to Auburn don't follow college football - just heard about Auburn winning the NC (I mean, one was in Milan Italy for crying out loud!).
