Hypothetically what’s PJ Hall worth in NIL $ to transfer?

Say an elite basketball school like UK needs center / power forward, how much would he command in the free market world of college athletes?
Candidly I haven’t a clue. But the transfer for $$$ possibility is real (not that I like the new norm of “pay for play” for college athletes).

He’s a South Carolina boy so I think it would take a big offer. He will get his money in the future. Keep him healthy. He missed a lot of playing time this year. In games where he was needed.

Understand the non-financial motivations. Just curious about what $$$$$$$ are being thrown around to entice BB transfers.

He’s a G league player at best, if he got a huge offer I would hate to lose him but wouldn’t blame him for life changing money that could set him up for the rest of his life. The kids here in Kentucky are getting 2+ million, the entire community is invested in the university and more specifically the basketball program. The basketball players are all over bank commercials, investment firms, grocery stores, etc. it’s really wild. That said, I agree with you that he’s an SC kid and loves Clemson and it would take a lot to lure him away, I don’t think he would.

I would so what agree. I think PJ is good to very good. He has improvement areas of course
But I do not see him as an NBA pro. I think he lacks the athleticism needed for that.
To go to NBA, he would need to work on 3PT shooting and be 40%, needs to work on handling the ball for some shot creation and become more versatile.
Will be interesting to see where goes from JR to SR year in terms of development.

…. Resume doesn’t appear to be NBA worthy but potentially sufficient for consideration of overseas professional teams.
I do think he’s talented enough to draw interest from other higher profile D1 B-ball programs.

injuries have been for him, and how he's really had to battle that. He has also had to play out of position at Clemson, and be our go-to "big man". Rest assured he will spend zero time in that role at the next level, and my concern is how much attention and development that part of his game is getting. One thing that has bothered me this year is his inability to guard and defend effectively without fouling.
Having said all of that, PJ came to Clemson as the best player on the team in terms of real basketball skills. He's got the tools to be a real force, and if he can stay healthy I think he has a chance to develop and realize his potential.

I agree that it will be tough for hall to play as a center in the NBA.
I Dont think we've seen a completely healthy pj hall the last 2 years. People forget that he didn't practice all year last year. He then couldn't practice all off-season. These injuries have really hampered his development. I think we will see a different pj hell next year if he stays healthy.
