Maybe Francis Marion knows? He broke the Dabo almost going to Jacksonville news.

You think UNC will give him 15 years to turn it around?

If so, BB is their man.

Probably. They saw that he did that for us.

The long lead item in our turnaround was the AD properly supporting the team. Brad is still the same coach as he was in the early years but now has the support required to be a very good program. Even a LF member should be able to understand but I guess not

Amazing how few people here acknowledge this.

They told themselves for years that we supported basketball great at Clemson. They were never willing or able to admit that our funding and support for basketball was horrible.

Still well beyond what it could be and never will get the support it needs... But BB has certainly grown as a coach .. I'm not saying your wrong but I'd like to hear your argument of what support he gets now that has lead to wins that he didnt have before?
Also, it helps a lot that we get those extra years now from guys that just didn't exist a few yrs ago. Helps a lot when your best player comes back for his 6th yr and he is the leading scorer, FT shooter and 3 pt shooter.... I love BB, just throwing that out there.

Lol. Hubert Davis will at least get one more year
Now Brad Brownell might be a secondary candidate at Indiana if they can't get Chris Beard or Bruce Pearl.

Yeah, I see what you are saying. Coach Brownell will probably just use the North Carolina job to get more cash from Clemson and a 10 year guaranteed contract with more perks.

Why lol? This is year 4 and the program is clearly moving backwards. Duke seemingly finding its legs quickly under Scheyer ups the pressure. His buyout is less than a year’s salary which is considerably less than Brad’s. There is very little incentive for them to keep him at this point. I’d say it’s 50/50 as of today.

UNC is not giving him another year. They take that historically great BB program seriously. He's out. They will get a proven winning coach. Would not be surprised if they try to get the Uconn coach. I know he has a big buy out, but it would be hard to turn down UNC JOB.

Lol. UConn is a blue blood like UNC. 5 Natty's. He is from NJ. He's not going to Carolina.

But I feel like he deserves another year. But if they do, they'll make a run at Nate Oats and throw the bank at him.. however Bama got more money now and plenty of resources, NIL setup, etc.
It's just a matter of if he wants that high profile job or not.
