And first time I’ve ever heard anyone pronounce it the way Scott is saying it
I’ve always heard it said Shill let ter
And the football team used the basement as early as 1980 because we would sit at the top of the ramp and watch folks like the Fridge and HJ etc come and go. Even know one guy wore his letter jacket from high school and snuck in to eat, told them he was a punter recruit

The Training Table was in the basement. Those linemen did all they could to fit 3 plates in their tray. Then went back for 2nds.

Harvey Gannt is deserving.
Name it Gannt tower at (Tillman or Main whatever) Hall.
The Gannt tower is what is shown on TV and marketing. Not the hall.

I would put his picture up and asked if anyone knew him. Then I would give his name and ask again. Rarely did any student know this man. Well, they did after taking ACCT 2010 under Papa G.

knows frickin everything about the olden days of Clemson, he had told me this. It's not very well known to the public. There's a lot of stuff that went on back in those days that got swept under in the apparently rather large rugs around the university.
Remember when the Cluckers used to complain that The State paper used to camp on their doorstep to expose everything dirty they did while Clemson got away with murder because the local media in the upstate either didn't exist or didn't care? There is a speck of truth to that, or used to be.
