they eat plenty of meat in Chicago. A lot of Chicago's most famous foods are meat related. Educate yourself before making ignorant statements.

Educate myself? You should read the paper dude. Obama's former chief of staff is now the mayor and he is blocking Chick Fil A since Chick Fil A values are not Chicago's.

Jesse Jackson and his Rainbow Coalition..... you're right, Obama is an Illinois guy
But politics in Chicago is only slight less scandalous than that in Louisiana/New Orleans.......If history has taught us anything, its taught us that Mr.Cathy could come in to the Windy City, grease a few of the right palms, and have more franchises than White Castle.......the political winds in Chicago have long blown towards the bank account thats footing the bills

He can say what he pleases. Last time I checked this is America, well at least for now. If you don't like what he said then don't eat his chicken. Personally I applaud him for standing up for what he believes in. Just cause a few of the PC panty wastes get upset,oh well, they will either get over it,or die mad.

Church leaders in Chicago have gone on the attack against Mayor Rahm Emanuel after he said Cathy's remarks showed that "Chick-fil-A's values are not Chicago's values," according to a story on Fox News.
The Rev. Charles Lyons of the Armitage Baptist Church and Cardinal Francis George of the Archdiocese of Chicago both questioned Emanuel's comments.
"Is the City Council going to set up a 'Council Committee on Un-Chicagoan Activities' and call those of us who are suspect to appear before it?," Cardinal George was quoted as saying. "Do not disrespect us...We, too, are Chicago," the story quoted Lyons as saying from the pulpit Sunday.

Well, I'm here to tell you, I've lived in CA for nearly four years and out of all the places I have lived and worked, I've never seen a more hard-working, brilliant, put-your-money-where-your-mouth-is, charitable and contributing state in my entire life. CA alone (forget about the entire rest of the USA) is the 4th largest economy in the world. People here don't sit around and complain about whoever is President, they are too busy inventing the personal computer, curing one of thousands of diseases they have cured, building Mars rovers or creating global giants like Apple, Google, Ebay, facebook, ETrade, Wells Fargo, and thousands of others...and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Plus our women are skinny and intelligent. More so than the local talent in Possum Kingdom, Pumpkintown or that dot on the map called Due West, SC; where the majority of women are hill-billies with 2 teeth in their mouth and one in their pocket (3 teeth total).

you made no mention of chickfila. I knew you were talking about chickfila. But at the same time those cities stances on chickfila have nothing to do with being a vegetarian. So you really weren't making a point. You were confusing a company's stance on a wedge issue with eating meat.

People in California make more money on average than people in South Carolina.
People who bring up the "#### in California" thing are usually either homosexuals themselves, or scared of getting beat down by someone who is a homosexual. I'll let you figure out where you fit in.
Living in the "#### capital of the world" is no different than living in Clemson. Except for the fact we make more money, have more free-time, enjoy more diverse culture, sports activities, better weather, more education and better food. Otherwise, its a dead heat.
Go Tigers!!!

That's true. Cost of living is also 3x's as much. In the end it's not really as much as you make it out to be because most people spend a lot more just making it through day to day.

living. A lot of people are moving out of California because the high cost of living, including taxes, leaves them with less at the end of the day then if they lived in other parts of the country.
I have nothing against California and have enjoyed many trips there. You don't have to denigrate the rest of the country to love your state.
