season. Poor recruiting for the 2025 class and amount of seniors graduating and players going out early will put us in bind.

I think this past year proves we'll start dabbling in the portal now after breaking the ice. It'll be very selective, but I expect at least 3 or 4 to fill immediate needs.

Otherwise, that Clemson stock people have been buying now while it’s cheap are going to experience another decline.

We had good players like I love Jacobs and Gideon In that class, but it could have been much better if we didn’t get poached at the end of the cycle still wasn’t a bad class tho.Go Tigers!!!

the last time Clemson did not crack the top 25 in recruiting was 2010.
Dabo made mistakes in the way he was recruiting. He chose to be hard headed and was left with his worst class in 15 years. He was forced to change b/c of that class.

And while not my original point, your post reinforced the fact that last year’s lower overall ranking was more a product of quantity, not quality.

If the football team fails to use the portal and fails to win the ACC...and the basketball team (which has become portal-dependent) goes off and wins the ACC, I'll buy a full page advertisement here on TNET featuring you telling us all how avoiding the portal clearly isn't the answer.
