2024 Season
Clemson University holds the ACC record for the longest home winning streak with 40 consecutive wins from 2016–2022. Clemson's streak broke the previous record of 37 games set by Florida State from 1992–2001.
How many ACC Championships did Clemson win in a row?
Clemson is one of the founding members of the ACC and holds 21 ACC titles, the most of any member. Its 27 total conference titles, including six consecutive ACC titles from 2015 to 2020, are the most of any ACC school.
Clemson's 31 straight regular season wins most in ACC history
What was Clemson's win streak?
NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision
# Team Streak 8. Clemson 29 Georgia 29 13. Oklahoma 28 Alabama 28
Clemson vs South Carolina
Clemson holds a 73–43–4 lead in the series, a 44–30–2 lead in the modern era (post-WWII), and a 14–8 lead in the 21st century.[68] Clemson's 73 wins against South Carolina is more than any other program has,[69] and Carolina's 43 wins against Clemson is third behind Georgia's 44 wins and Georgia Tech's 51 wins.[70]
Just a few stats mainly during Dabo’s tenure at Clemson. Hope you find these interesting.

I’ll never forget sitting behind a column there watching the game from a TV with water leaking down from the upper decks.

SEC Team's All Time Record vs. Clemson:
UGA 44-18-4 (Nine of Clemson's wins came before 1915!) Alabama 14-5-0 Arkansas 0-0-0 Auburn 34-15-2 Florida 9-3-1 Kentucky 8-6-0 LSU 3-1-0 Miss St 1-1-1 Missouri 1-3-1 Ole Miss 2-0-0 South Carolina 43-73-4 Tennessee 12-6-2 Texas A&M 3-3-3 Vanderbilt 3-1-0
Basically, CLemson has a winning record against SC...historically the SECs worst team. Is this why Clemson wouldn't join the SEC in 2012?

Endzone - UGA's historical record is pretty good. Interestingly, Clemson is not far behind. Curious, in how many of Georgia's years was UGA an all-male military school?

Clemson not far behind? You may also want to consider the conference Clemson plays in vs. UGAs conference foes. Substantially weaker opponents. Just something else to think about.
An all-male military school question? The answer: UGA has been an all-male military school same number of years that Clemson has been since 1955. Football didn't start in 1955. Maybe we should compare Army/Navy/Air Force vs Clemson before 1955 and look at the numbers.
Dabo didn't want any part of joining the SEC and everyone knows why. He declined the invite in 2012, but the Tigers of Missouri didn't...or the Aggies of aTm.

Alabama has some NC’s I think they sort of invented especially during Bear Bryant years. Could be the same with other SEC programs.

Don’t know how old you are, but Clemson was held back by recruiting standards adopted by the ACC until around 1974. So if you look at records from 1977 forward(time for a recruiting class to get to their junior year) it would be more accurate to how they fared against the SEC.

You are exactly right. Clemson was held back in recruiting because of SEC vs ACC SAT scores. South Carolina became an Independent, because, when Frank McQuire was the Hoops coach at SC, he wanted to be able to recruit equally against Kentucky and other schools who could sign players that could not get into the ACC due to the SAT differential. SC joined the SEC along with Arkansas when the SEC wanted to expand, in the South East only at that time.

There is no doubt that the traditional SEC teams owned Lil Ole Clemson in football for decades. Congrats to all the great grandpas still living for all those years of excellence.
I like it that in the last 50 years among SEC teams only Bama has won more National Titles than our Clemson Tigers.
I like it that in the same last 50 years, Clemson has won more total games than every team in the SEC not named Alabama or Georgia. I tip my hat to the Dawgs and the Crimson Tide for their performance.
I like it that in the last 13 years Clemson has won more games and played in the National Championship game more times than any team in the SEC other than Alabama.
I like it that a significantly higher percentage of Clemson football players have graduated from than players from any of the schools in the SEC.
I like it that USNWR rankings of National Public Universities shows Clemson to be a better school than all SEC teams but Florida, Texas and Georgia. (I tip my hat to those 3 fine public universities.)
I am proud to be a graduate and fan of Clemson University. I do not pat myself on the back over any wins or national titles won by any team other than Clemson. I do not cheer for any team other than Clemson. I cannot understand why a Georgia fan would ever cheer for or feel good about the manner in which Bama has totally dominated the entire SEC for the past 60 some years.
I read a lot about how much more money every team in the SEC gets paid by the SEC than Clemson gets paid by the ACC. It is pretty clear most teams in the SEC have not done anything worth talking about by having so much money for so many years. Arkansas and South Carolina joined the SEC in the early 90s and their football programs have not gotten any better at all over a long period of rolling in SEC money.
I have never understood college football fans who are big boosters of their league. Georgia fans like Florida? Georgia fans like Auburn? Georgia fans like LSU? Tennessee? Georgia fans like being Bama's little sister? RYFKM?
Go Tigers!!
