No it wasn’t.

Refs made it very clear they were favoring GT.
They had a chance to take it out of the refs hands and that’s what they did.

Shouldn’t have even been in OT to begin with.
Wake had it won if the refs call a blatantly obvious offsides call.

It was absolutely a dumb play. You put all the pressure on yourself instead of putting the pressure on Georgia tech. Plus you make it all come down to one play When the second overtime you have two point conversions coming up anyway.

Again, the refs made it clear the calls were going to go to GT until they won it.

The game was over in regulation on the 3rd and 5 if they call an offsides where the dude is nearly in the backfield.

Take it out of the refs hands and put it in your players. It was the right move. Maybe not the best playcall, but the correct move.

injured QB, injured starting RB (also best player on their offense by far) AND momentum on the side of the ranked, more talented team. absolutely the right call to go for 2, not to mention refs playing for GT the longer the game goes on

I agree. They were not gonna be able to stop Haynes King and the coach knew it. Big play by the rb on the touchdown. That was their chance to steal the win. Definitely the right call to go for 2
