We were the very first offer he recieved , back in 2011. Some say he is a Coot lean . What is the pulse on here for our chances at landing him ? Big country boy with all american type skills should come to Clemson , right ?

He's pretty much USC all the way. We have a really good shot with some big name 2015 guys though.

He's right. Stanley appears a heavy Scar lean. But he did cancel trips to Ole Miss and LSU after going to Bama. OSU has interest as well and they send him plenty of attention.
Right now it looks (in order) Scar, Bama, OSU, UNC, LSU, Clemson.
Raymond Felton went to UNC and hes from Latta. Don't be surprised if he gets plenty of love from UNC. The kid also plays basketball. I put UNC as a darkhorse but genuinely he appears cootville bound.

short term. They may want to play for the team that is having the most success in state.
USuC is also making a name for themselves for pumping out solid D linemen. Clemson has been slipping lately as far as talent goes at the DE position. Bowers was about the last guy to really excel. Branch was serviceable but after that, there has been no consistency.

They're continuing to get great Dline prospects including a commitment from what looks to be the number 1 prospect in the country in defensive end, Blackshear for 2015...

How can this be. SC is not recruiting well. They are not replacing the talent they are losing. Heck, they are basically beating UNC Charlotte for their recruits.
And now you are gonna tell me they will get the possible # 1 recruit in the nation in Blackshear?? Plus leading for Donnel Stanley?
Can't be true.

A guy I work with; that knows the kid and his father, told me he was probably going to sc, but that he wouldn't rule out north carolina. Seems like he's been a tarheel fan all of his life.

questions academics between the two (unc wins hands down), julius peppers is still one of the most talked about d-linemen to enter the nfl in a long time, then that leaves only one possibility why he is even considering usuc- $.
