Against Pitt, we ran it once for an 8 yard gain. I was surprised we didn't see it more that game given how they had so many guys in tight to stop the run and get after our oline in the passing game. That extra option causes the ends to have to slow down a split second and read one more element of the offense.
not sure a 2 back set doesn't play into their hands. With that kind of size we need to spread them out and make their secondary run, run and run some more and tackle and try to create some openings for big plays down the field. I do hope we can get Haynes some carries/catches.
