- when Lindsey Graham decides to retire in several years it will be about the time Dabo decides to step back from coaching.
- Dabo will run for and be elected to the US Senate from South Carolina.
- Brent Venables will assume the HC post at Clemson and successfully continue the National Title-caliber program Dabo put in place.
This will make good sense for everyone!!

I hope Dabo is our HC for at least another 10 years. It makes me want to throw up to think that Trump puppet Lindsay Graham is going to survive that long.

Dabo will never coach in the NFL - those cats won't play ball like these college kids. Congress - particularly in its current incarnation - will never work together. Ever. Trump could walk on water and Dems would accuse him of something crazy, and same with the Republicans and Obama or Clinton. Even if it's something they supported before the POTUS started pushing for it. It's nuts. It's an irrational world, and a guy like Dabo wouldn't be able to function in that environment.
He's right where he needs to be. Like he said, it's a calling. I think he'll have more influence by far where he is now than he ever would in Congress. Which is why you rarely (if ever?) see a successful coach go into elected office.

Partially. It's pretty shady that they can buy stocks in companies before the public knows what bills are likely to pass. They have an advantage, because they kind of know. That directly has an effect on industries and stock prices in those industries. Hard to believe they are even allowed to get in on IPOS. 60 Minutes ran something on it a few years ago. A lot of money is turning. It's not illegal, but shady imo. Conflict of public interest.

Dabo likely recognizes his football legacy built at Clemson. He is a HOF coach who probably will retire after thirty plus years of coaching here. He clearly knows his God given purpose.

Has Dabo shown any desire to go into politics? I know he's spoken at the State House twice, but surely that was because of Clemson's on field success, not due to any desire to move into that world.
To be honest, I'm not sure why any sane person would want to get involved in politics. I know somebody has to do it, but ............
