Is passionate about winning. It makes me sick to see the posts mocking his beliefs and "at least he's raising good men" sarcastically.
Just watch his post game interview after Bama 2018. He is as passionate about wanting to win as any coach in the country. Thinking that isn't his biggest motive is blind. Back the man before he leaves us, or you'll be the idiot wishing you had him.
Coach has my full support and I can't wait for 2023. If you're reading this disagreeing and thinking our coaches are inferior and won't win before we make a change, don't bother cheering for us in the playoffs next year. We don't want you.

I’d love nothing more than to be cheering us on in the playoffs next year.

I just don’t see it happening.
Our new starter wasn’t good enough to start all year this year, despite the guy ahead of him struggling. Cade will surely improve, but expecting him to play lights out to be a CFP level QB is asking a lot.
We will be good at RB, but OL will probably be about the same. Expecting our WRs to be much better is also wishful thinking. Who will be our game breaking WRs next year?
On defense, we will probably not be as good on the line. Linebackers will likely be similar. Our secondary will probably be slightly better but not a strength.
Special teams will probably not be as good.
Coaching will probably be about the same.
I just don’t see us in the playoffs next year. We aren’t close to being a playoff caliber team unless you’re counting on dramatically better performances from multiple position groups and a huge shift in how our coaches game plan and adjust.

We’re not making the field of 64 teams in the NCAA BB Tournament this year either. So there’s that and one can dream.

You’re right. Your team is improving but a long way from winning the SEC East, much less making the playoffs.

and guess what? I didn't cheer us on in the Playoffs this year. I was cheering us on as we got a beatdown handed to us in the Orange Bowl.

Seems similar to 2014 to me, new QB coming in and handed over the reigns, made the playoffs. All in or all out. You can admit either or, your opinion

And won’t hire someone and let them run the show. The one thing we had was consistent defense because of venables. Now we have nothing. Hope he pulls his head out of his ### soon.
He deserves a huge payout for these coaching hires. He’s ruining what he built with humility.

I thought BV was a great defensive coach. But when I think of the big games we lost his last few years - LSU, Ohio State, Notre Dame at ND. it was the defense that cost us those games so let’s not pretend he was perfect .

True. In CBV's first year at Clemson, we gave up 24.8 points per game. This year, Goodwin's team gave up 20.9. I'm not taking into account points given up by special teams and the offense. Too tired to look into those numbers right now. Time will tell if Goodwin can develop into a top notch coordinator.

How many future NFL players were on BV’s first defense?

How does that compare to the ones on Goodwin’s defense this year?

"Just watch his postgame interview after Bama 2018." the problem is he is not the same as he was back in 2018. its now more about getting his friends and his and their family paid.
