to the punter situation. But the positions are completely different. No one is asking a punter to do anything but punt. QBs have to be team leaders, run an offense...have the faith of their team. That's why a team that can't decide between two QBs can be in big trouble.
Punters punt. If we can't decide between three punters, there isn't going to be any drama. It doesn't effect anyone else. It could be as simple as the fact that they are all hitting about the same distance...have about he same hang time...show about the same level of consistency.
Now...they might all be average to below-average, I don't know. But having three comparably performing punters means nothing more than that.

And you know, your team was much better at punting than us and have been the entire CFP era. What has it done for you? I know last year it helped to a middling bowl game against a middling opponent, and you lost. I know you’re a bottom dweller in the CFP era and you had great punting.
