Could be off base here, but watching Chad's interview

from yesterday was very interesting. Now maybe he was amped up on Red Bull, or Sunday night is "nookie night" in the Morris house, but he seemed pretty confident in that interview and ready to get to game day. I'm getting the feeling he feels really good about this offense, including the line. I mean REALLY GOOD!
Go Tigers!!!!

blowing smoke early this year. I think they just want to bring out the best in the players and I think it worked. I haven't felt this good about a Clemson team in decades.
I just hope our team gets overconfident after trouncing AU.

I hope you're right. I have to see it on the field in the opener though. I remember too many starting games with good teams where we laid an egg like Ga and Bama.

It hurts but the truth is we 'pull a Clemson,' way too often to be comfortable going into a game with this much publicity. The positive is, we are not expected to win by 98% of the ex-SEC players on ESPiN therefore we can't pull a Clemson.

He tells it like he sees it and he seems very confident in the OL as well as our team. I'm glad he cleared up the issues people have been having with Tajh. he flat out has said that he's put him in those type of situations to force errors so that they can go over them. I have all the confidence in the world that The Chad will game plan a great performance and that our team has the confidence and the drive to bury the pretend tigers once again on national TV!

From a psychological standpoint, you certainly don't want to go into game week telling your players they suck, therefore planting the seed of doubt in their minds.
I for one, am more concerned about Tahj's performance. Can he put together a solid 2nd year? Or does he suck like most 2nd year QBs? I can't wait for Saturday night to get all our questions answered. I'm tired of talking about the same old crap. Give me something new!!
Spot the ball already.

Boy, The Chad wasn't worried about Tajh.

I really think if you watched the film you'd appreciate Chad's opinion of this year's Tajh much more.
"On Boyd’s progression: “Nobody’s talked about Tajh yet. I’m going to talk about him because I’m excited for him. I’m extremely excited for Tajh. I think Tajh has prepared himself for this.
The ownership he’s taken in this team, not just offensively but defensively, as a leader of this football team,
I’m excited to see him. He’s a veteran player now. A year ago, this time he was a rookie. We were talking about, ‘Who’s he going to be?’ Well, he’ s a veteran player now. He’s got 14 games underneath him, two springs and two fall camps. You expect him to be that veteran guy, who manages things cool, calm, collected on the field. So that’s what excites me, to be able to watch him in a whole other element to see how he can respond.
Tajh is at his best when he’s having fun on the field, playing a game, that he loves. It’s going to be really exciting for us to watch him and watch him perform.”
On Boyd responding to adversity: “We’ve talked a lot about it. A lot of that has to do with the fact that you are now a veteran player. Some of that adversity you may have faced in camp, in spring ball. We’ve put a lot of pressure on him to see how he’s going to respond, to make sure it’s all about the next play.
It’s that windshield theory. It’s more important to see where you’re going than where you came from. We’ve talked a lot about that, we talk about it daily."
