This. I wish more people in Tigernet actually watched other college teams play baseball beside just Clemson.
A lot of teams have one good starter and one good bullpen guy. Only a handful have more and even less than that have elite staffs. There are probably 2-3 teams that have elite staffs.
There isn’t a team in the nation that has higher rated pitching talent than Vanderbilt and they got smoked today. College baseball is the only level where great pitching doesn’t always neutralize great hitting. Tight now the bats are too hot and the hitters are too good. I believe we will see another bat restriction ruling within the next 1-2 years.

I was wondering how much they have laxed on those rules because now a simple pop up can leave the yard without aiding by wind it seems a little weird to see it now. I also hope Clemson moves back the fences a little bit. I think they over corrected a while back when the first bats were adjusted

All I’m saying is we can hit with anyone so not facing an mlb prospect may help get back some confidence 🤦‍♂️ I realize not everyone has a tenn staff I never said that , I’m somewhat agreeing in they prob threw their “ace” yesterday so anything that can help is good … our bats can be as good as anyone in the country we just need to get going

Well looking at coastal Carolina’s roster, the pitcher who pitched today for them has thrown the most innings. He has pitched 70 innings. Next closest guy is at 40. He didn’t have the lowest era on the team. But looking at innings he is there to to guy it seems like.

Coastal can hit, and vandy is not the same offensive team we are used to seeing at all. I do believe they pitched great yesterday
