Clemson has never won a Super Regional on the road

Odd quirk of history but Clemson baseball has never won a super regional on the road. Every time we've made the CWS since the format change in 1999, it has been through Doug Kingsmore stadium.
Super regionals lost on the road
1999: at Texas A&M 1-2
2001: at Miami 0-2
2005: at Baylor 1-2
2007: at Mississippi State 0-2
2009: at Arizona State 0-2
Super regionals at home:
2000: Mississippi State W 2-0
2002: Arkansas W 2-1
2006: Oral Roberts W 2-0
2010: Alabama W 2-1
2024: Florida L 0-2

Crazy that we were in supers 9 of 11 years. No wonder I’m spoiled. On another note we’ve made 10 of 26 supers. Sigh.

Wrong. Leggett was done. His last few teams were so fundamentally awful. He had small ball teams that couldn’t steal bases and couldn’t bunt……

Lmao no he was done... I liked Jack, but the program was woefully stagnant and needed a change. People need to queue up the GnR and have a lil PATIENCE!!!

Back in the 70s and 80s, 90s. We owned the conference as well. Sure we'd have lean years, but we were competitive. We also knew the next cws was a year or two.
Now it's next time ump says play ball, we'll be talking about 16 years. Won a lot of games this year but you could tell we were held together with duct tape.

we also got to Omaha through the Clemson regional in 1980, 1995 and 1996.
You have to go back to 1991 when we got there from the road out of the Orono,Maine regional of all places.
1977 coral gables and 1976 Columbia (just a single 4-team regional)
