I’d also like to point out that we may be able to use Mahlstedt to finish game 2 after a full day of him not pitching

So that is one advantage unless he folds under the pressure again

That sequence of events where we took the lead in the 8th was caused a little by it being so wet and sloppy

FSU’s outfielders were slipping and stuggling to get the ball

And making bad throws, including the one thrown home on Cam’s triple that allowed Cam to score

Where Cam stumbled midway to home plate as well


We got the lead, I wouldn’t have felt good about a one run lead playing in that rain



And regardless of the rain, they’re the ones sitting with the pressure all night of evening the game

I like the way that both of you seeing this as an advantage for our guys, but it's FSU that has the home field advantage. We can win this one and game 3, but we'll have to play at our best and cause FSU to make a mistake, and if we can do that, Tigers win the series, Go tigers and win the series!!!

Suspended is a better description, as it will be resumed at the same point that it was stopped.

Beyond that minor point, I hope the Tigers can hold on and take game 2.
