Cheapest access to ESPN channels is Sling TV

At $40 a month. This is the best I can find. Does anyone have any other reasonable options? I cancelled cable after our dominant performance in the NIT. Tired of paying $149 a month plus $69 for internet from Spectrum.

You get like 3 simultaneous streams and the don't have to be at the same address. You can even set up different log ins for different locations.

I usually do Youtube tv during the season and cancel it after the superbowl. I watch highlights and look at TNET for all the other sports. It's usually like 75 a month though

Sling doesn't have local channels and according to the lineup doesn't carry ACC or SEC networks.

It offers ESPN3 though which is almost always simultaneously run with the SEC and ACC Networks or it did last year anyway.

I didn't see the extra sports package initially.
If you get local channels through an antennae, this looks like it could be a sweet deal.
I don't get good reception for the local channels where I live so I end up with going with YouTube TV anyways.
Edit: Did some rough math. YouTube TV would be a few dollars more with local stations at regular prices.

I have a digital antenna that I never hooked up after cutting cable off but will be trying it out soon. Should be fine in Summerville.
Jedi, my parents live way out in middle of nowhere and had reception problems with small digital antennas. They ended up buying one of the bigger ones that goes in the attic and then that ties into all the coax you would use for cable and now they have like 18 channels throughout the house. I think it was $299 and is about the size of beachball around but only 2-3" high. Not sure namebrand but I was impressed with how good it works.

the Hulu, ESPN, Disney bundle for last season and it worked pretty well. I dropped it for the summer and looks like I’ll stick with it for this year.
Feel like I got more for the money with the bundle

I have the Hulu, Disney and ESPN+ bundle but dont get regular ESPN channels. If I am correct, you have to upgrade package to Hulu Live and its like $79 maybe just went up to $84. Is that about what you are paying.

I will add Hulu later this month and cancel in January after the Natty. I like Hulu because of the other shows and movies they stream. They have local channels but I get those on a small antenna anyway. Hulu has all the football channels for about the same monthly cost as youtube TV.

Good topic and timely.
I currently have Yttv (2nd time I've had it). This time there's a noticeable drop in service level while the bill keeps going up ($82 after tax this month).
For some reason, they won't let me add my wife to my family plan, so we share my login. That's a pain when I'm used to having my own channel lineup and dvr. Plus no Bally sports.
For the Sling users, are you getting both Blue and Orange?
I'm considering looking into Fubo. Has anyone tried that recently?

I think its Blue only for ESPN channels and Orange if you want the Fox Sports package pr you can bundle both together for like another $15, something like that.

I opted for the Sling route last year. I had done it years before and figured I’d try it again. $40 is just the start. You have to get the orange and blue packages to get the channels you want…($55?), and then add on the sports package if you want ACC network. It ended up being $70/month, and you don’t get network channels.
Just my luck… Almost every game we had last year was on ABC! So I had to buy an antenna as well, but I’m just too far from the cities to get any decent reception and the signal would often come and go during games. Ended up going out to sports bars for many of the games. Cable would’ve been $80 or $85 a month, which isn’t much more than I was paying, so I’m definitely doing cable this year.
I try to look for the best deal when I can. It seems like most cable companies jack up your rates after 12 months, so I shop around and I tend to go without cable after the national championship until the next season begins. There’s got to be a better way, but for me, it wasn’t Sling. 😕

Youtube TV was the best move we ever made. We can watch TV anywhere when we travel at at either of our homes and still get all the local channels. Awesome deal.

Fubo is by far the best deal, Carrie’s the most sports and local channels.
