that contracts will soon be a necessary part of NIL. If a team is going to pay its players, then there has to be criteria met in order to get the full pay out. It should start with no play, no pay.

CBA, contracts, and salary caps are the only way to get this back under control.
Then all problems will be pushed down to HS level as agents start to jockey for talent.

It’s a job so it needs to be handled like a job, there shouldn’t be any restrictions on the coaches/universities that a job wouldn’t have.

Apparently that was something that had been pre determined between he and the coaches. But there was no definite reason given. I watched the whole game.

Add Restrepo, their leading WR and Sam Brown, a Junior, both announced 2hrs before game they decided to sit out the bowl to get ready for NFL. Hurt the entire team and I am sure Miami wins if they played with Cam.
These kids, young men, want to get paid, there has to be consequences for not working. It's BS that you help your team all season then decide to sit on your teammates.

wait until two hours before a game to sit out, for if true, they should have been told to clear out their lockers and get out of the football facilities and stay out.
Might add: if Ward deliberately sat out the second half, his assss would been been off the sidelines and out of the locker room, too.

Yep. Ward took full advantage of the transfer portal and NIL. He should have to hold up his end of the bargain by playing. Wonder how Bluffton justifies this from his position on the high moral ground.
