He obviously has got to get some portal guys with everyone leaving but I really think he needs to start some of those freshman and throw them in the fire play them a ton off the bench make it all about them REBUILD obviously you need to play whatever portal guys we get but these freshman need to play A LOT or we will lose them just like we lost all these guys already we have a good couple classes and these kids can be great in a couple years but WE WILL lose them and it won’t matter if they don’t get on the court… this time it’s a little different we don’t have a Chase Hunter, Scheff, Hall, or Girard, etc.. we gotta REBUILD and make it all about those young guys.

And if some of those freshman show out...watch them head to the portal at the end of next season.
I really hate what has happened to college sports.

Portal guys don't come to sit on the bench, Reeves, Heidbrieder as ex. Also playing Frosh don't mean anything nowadays, look at Del Jones. He got quite a lot of playing time and could have earned more if he shined a little more during games but he is probably our biggest loss. Dude had some talent and super looking upside.

FSU football, mich state football, Colorado football.
Live by the portal, high schoolers go away. Just bringing in one year hired guns who were not good teammates elsewhere.
Good programs develop and bring in portal as filler. Not build it with portal.

Yea that’s basically what I’m getting at you gotta rebuild through these young guys and just have these portal guys as plug ins but if if we become portal dominant and all of our “stars” are portal guys then we will have guys leave like left and right every year like they did this year

I'm not that concerned as long as start getting commited transfers, but haven't gotten one yet and had like 5 guys in the 5 days visit. Need to start getting some transfers in to make up for the loses.
