Best thing for me was my decision not to watch it,

as I am disgusted with all the political crap in our country.
I can say this, because both candidates along with other senior political leaders and I are of the same age: both parties have missed the boat by refusing to pass torches to our next generation.
Instead, we have baby boomer old farts (yes, I am one) who refuse to cede the baton, and our younger folks who refuse to make them do so. So, what are we witnessing? The same old, same old bullsh*t from two men who have neither the common sense nor common decency to admit that it's past time for someone else.

Correct.
JRB’s offer to us in 2020 included that he would be a transition from the DJT mess. After the 2022 elections he should have followed through and announced that he would NOT run again … and neither would Harris. They blew it.

I finally just turned it off about 2/3 of the way through and watched some Youtube videos. Watching those two spout all those canned, pre-planned talking points was making me nervous. So sad.

I’d predict Trump figuring it out and turning it on right before midnight, however Biden would get his on around 3 am and declare victory due to a late surge that can’t be explained and anyone who would contradict it would be un American and a threat to democracy.
