Assuming Dabo makes a change at DC

Dabo made a change at offense when he hired Riley. Some believed Wes Goodwin was on a short leash then. Judging by Dabos recent comments that the defensive struggles wasn’t from a lack of talent. That could only mean the struggles is from bad coaching. Who how there would you like to see or think Dabo brings on as DC at season end?

Riley is a bum. When has a Big 12 type of offense won a meaningful game!***

Big 12’s offenses generally aren’t why they lose when they lose.

Dabo will never admit issues are from "lack of talent"......

even when it's obvious.
In his mind we have the best roster talent in the country every year.

I always felt that turning the keys to the defensive kingdom that BV built over to Wes Goodwin as opposed to conducting a national search for an experienced well-seasoned DC, was a mistake.

I believe Dabo is going to keep Wes. If you don't believe me just look at how long Thomas Austin lasted. Look at how long Richardson, Conn, and Grisham have lasted. If the defense looks like that the rest of the season, then sure Wes might be gone.

Streeter lasted one season as the coordinator

Coordinator positions will always have far shorter leashes than position coaches.

I can assure you he will not get a new DC anytime soon. He sticks with what he has until he gets backed into a corner. His job is safe for a while.

What are those numbers you might ask? Clemson’s total offensive rankings at the end of the 2021 (TE’s last year), 2022 (Streeter’s only year), 2023 (Riley’s first year…highest paid asst coach in the country).
Interesting when you start looking at the facts.

Someone be serious for a change

Efficiency: ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI) ranks Clemson's offense as number one in the nation
Completion percentage: Clemson ranks 16th nationally with a completion percentage of 69.6%
Total offense: Clemson ranks 18th nationally, averaging 474.3 yards per game
Passing efficiency: Clemson ranks 21st nationally with a rating of 164.02
Passing yards: Clemson ranks 25th nationally, averaging 285.3 passing yards per game
Quarterback Cade Klubnik is a key player in Clemson's offensive success, ranking third overall in QBR.
If these numbers are all true, No one is going anywhere. Now the defense, might be abother issue. Certainly not what we expected at the beginning of the year.

I'd wait for OU to fire Venables and then fire Wes 5 minutes later.

probably promote Clay sweeney to wide receiver coach after season, fire Goodwin and hire the Daniel high coach as Defensive Coordinator. just makes sense because he will have a familiarity with all the local walkons we have listed in our depth chart. I kid but it is alarming at the lack of D1 experience at our coordinator positions currently.

Wes isn't going anywhere. Garrett Riley and Grisham are closer on the chopping block than Wes Goodwin

I would say all 3 are at risk without significant improvement soon.
