remain in the ACC for a number of years? If not, I can’t see why the ACC settled. I mean, this is a win for Clemson and FSU. They basically got EVERYTHING they wanted with no concessions.

It wouldn’t make sense for Clemson to sue the ACC and then agree to stick around

I agree, but it doesn’t make sense for the ACC to sue Clemson and FSU and then give the two schools everything they wanted with no concessions at all. That’s not a settlement. That’s surrender.

Looks like through the 2030-2031 academic year as it stands. That's where the money nut changes bigly. We gave our mates 6 years ahead to figure things out from there. With us or without us. With us for now.

I don't think we agreed to stay until 31 per se. You can leave once you pay the new sliding scale exit fee but new TV deals for other conferences start to come up for renewal by 2030.
