We are always listed in the conference standings as the 2nd team under Duke, but we have the same conference record as Louisville and we lost to them head to head.

Louisville owns tie breaker unless something else happens. They play Stanford and California so should be heavily favored there. However, next Saturday, Duke plays at North Carolina so if they lose, we own any tiebreaker with Duke. So most likely three seed in acc tourney but a possibility of a 2.

Duke could have a sneaky tough game tomorrow night against wake. Then as you said, unc on Saturday. Wake beat unc, but I would imagine their fans will be rooting for Duke to win. If duke beats wake, then Saturday game with duke takes on an extra incentive. In this scenario, if unc can beat duke, that pushes them into the 4th and double bye.
Louisville shouldn't have a problem with Cal. But Stanford could pull off the upset... which if they did, it'd really be disappointing because we'd all be tied for 1 but with the tiebreaker.

play pretty badly to lose either of those games. They're averaging 99ppg in their last 5 and have broken 100 in three of those games.
I think they are about equally as likely to lose a game (which isn't very likely). Duke has tougher games, but they're a lot better than Louisville.

I would not be shocked to see both Louisville and Duke drop a game this week. UNC, Wake, and Stanford could all 3 make a tourney run with string finishes, and maybe that's enough incentive for them to pull off the upsets. I would not put money on it happening, but stranger things have happened. Clemson has an easier final week than the other 2 in the top 3.

Duke beat Louisville, Louisville beat Clemson, and Clemson beat Duke.

If Duke loses to either Wake or UNC they would probably be the 3 seed, us 2 seed, and UofL the 1 seed.
Wake, UNC, and SMU are the next highest seeds. Us and UofL are undefeated vs those teams. Duke would have 1 loss vs them and drop them to third. Tiebreaker between us and UofL goes to them bc of head to head.

The easiest thing would be Duke and Louisville both lose one more

In that case we would be tied with Duke but own tiebreaker. Louisville would be knocked out. Any tie with Louisville and they take higher seed. A 3-way tie would most likely go to Duke bc they beat GT but GT beat us and Louisville.
UNC could be a tough game for Duke. Crazy that both teams last loss were to us. They could both be going in with 6 and 7 game win streaks, at UNC, on senior night. I hate both teams equally but I’ll be pulling for the ‘holes that night.
As for UofL, our best hope is probably Stanford knocks them off. If all that happens and we handle business then I think we would have #1 seed with ACC regular season title. 🤞🏼
