Hypothetically, if FSU were to go down and we could win the ACC, there would be a pretty good chance! Plus with DW we can beat anyone this year.

I don't know man, with espn sucking the teet of the SEC we don't stand a chance. Plus baylor and tcu playing well it seems like a long shot but i love the thought.

All SEC teams with 2 losses will be ranked ahead of us as well as a couple of them with 3 losses. We crank the top 10 if we win out though

Since you said "there is no possible scenario", I present to you:
Mississippi St loses to Alabama, Vanderbilt, & Ole Miss Florida St loses to Miami and Boston College, losing to Florida would be insurance Oregon loses to Colorado and Oregon State Bama loses to Western Carolina & Auburn TCU loses to Kansas and then either Texas or Iowa State Baylor loses to Oklahoma State and Texas Tech Arizona State loses to Oregon State & Washington State Ohio State loses to Minnesota and either Indiana or Michigan Auburn loses to Samford Ole Miss loses to Arkansas Nebraska loses to Minnesota or Iowa Michigan St. loses to Rugers or Penn State Kansas State loses to Kansas UCLA loses to USC or Stanford Notre Dame loses to Northwestern or Louisville or USC Georgia loses to Georgia Tech Arizona loses to Washington
And boom, we're in.

I'd say the chance of us getting in to the CFB is about the same.

I actually think we can...if FSU somehow spontaneously combusts against Miami and then BC.
It's unlikely in the extreme, but it's possible.
Beat GT, on the road, and then put it to Georgia State - not hard - and then South Carolina. Win the ACC title game against a ranked Coastal opponent, possibly an 11-1 Duke team.
Yeah, at that point, Clemson's got a 10-game win streak, one of the toughest defenses in the country, and the most exciting young QB in the country in Watson. We would have a case, especially since the SEC is about to eat one another alive. Our case would especially be helped if UGA were to somehow win the SEC...which I legit think could happen. I'm fairly confident at least one of the Pac-12 or Big 10 conference winners could easily finish with two losses as well.
It's a snowball's chance in Hades, and it's totally dependent on FSU melting down - but I still think there are few limits to what Jameis Winston is capable of. I do think Miami has a very real chance of beating the 'Noles next week, and if Winston isn't available for whatever reason against BC...well.
If FSU beats Miami in Miami next week, though, fuggetaboutit. And of course we have to take care of business against GT anyhow.

FSU would have to lose both their last two games. I don't see that happening unless the entire defense is suspended for 2 games. Get real.. you are dreaming.

Snowball's chance in Hades, like I said.
I still think FSU is primed for a meltdown. Things have been very quiet on the Winston front...and when there isn't a crisis, he tends to create one. I think with or without Winston there's a chance they lose to Miami...and then his hearing is scheduled for the week of the 17th, though his lawyer is trying to get it moved. If he were to be suspended or expelled then...well, chaos could well ensue. And BC is not a team you want to take a short team in against. BC can't pass to save their own lives but they can run the ball and dictate, and they play very good defense...BC rolled Southern Cal early on in the year and their only losses have been to us, a Colorado State team that turned out to be the best mid-major team not called Marshall, and to Louisville...no shame in any of those losses. If you're struggling to control the run - and FSU is struggling to control anything on D, these days - they could be in serious guano without Winston.
We'd also have to have some help up the line, like, say, Wisconsin beating Ohio State, or some such, but if there's one thing this year has taught us, it's that nobody is safe.
But if karma catches up with the Seminoles, and it could, everything is back on the table. I do know I'll have an eye peered down to Miami this next week...and so will you.

whether someone else winning or losing for Clemson to reach our goal three decades ago. Right now, it just is what it is. We win, we go to the OB, we lose Dook will probably make it.
This is the only way I see it. The only team that I can please or disappoint me is my team, Clemson. The rest can pound sand.

With a seasoned DW and other injured players returning, our offense should be much improved. Defense has enough talent to be respectable.

Even if we did back into the ACCCG, we don't really have that "hot team" image right now. Our last wins were not decisive and our offense hasn't been all that exciting. That translates into low poll numbers. I couldn't see us moving into the top 4 with two loses and close victories over unranked teams. It is what it is.

No the highest we will get is around 12 or 13 at 10-2. Win our bowl finish 11-2 and we will be ranked 10-7, I will take it tho
