This should not be a big surprise when you think about it:

Per Rivals, GA Tech’s 2025 recruiting class has eight 4* verbals. Am8ng those eight 4* verbals are four OL players.

GA Tech’s success (including close losses) is paying off. HC Brent Key was a former O-lineman for GA Tech. Between his excellent coaching + coaching staff and on-field success, GA Tech is building a foundation to be a powerhouse offensive team.

Not writing this to suggest that GA Tech will soon be better than us; rather it is to point out that ACC football as an overall product may not be the dregs of the P4 conferences as the SEC Network is fond of saying.

They like to run the ball. Recruiting a high caliber OL makes sense.

And they are good at it.

Really hoping that we too can get better at the run game; doing so will help enormously with our goal of improving our red zone success.

High caliber OL recruits can only help the passing game as well as the running game...

We won't know until these recruits turn 30 as to who had the better recruiting class.
