This picture is making the rounds and I'm getting a lot of questions. First off, it's real. Second, no Clemson is not going to sell alcohol and beer in Death Valley. A relatively new law in South Carolina requires this to be posted wherever alcohol is stored. As you know, alcohol is stored in the WEZ and in the suite areas,so this sign (which I think it's funny it had to be posted next to Howard's Rock) is a mere formality.
Not for concessions. Not about pass outs

Not awesome news. Clemson is staying high and mighty and in doing so is gonna go broke. If tbe religious Bible beaters don't want alcohol then ban it from tailgating? I mean if all the choir members and local Pastors are good without it that is?? Cut off sales midway thru 3rd quarter, and use the money to strengthen our program. Dumbest business decision ever!!

Hey stupid don't drag religion into the fact you can't keep guzzling beer after tailgating while in stadium. Going 3 hrs without a beer til you get back to your car is not gonna kill ya. If you can't maybe you need to go to AA meetings.

They drink at their tailgate and then come into the stadium.
It is a ridiculous notion that selling alcohol in the stadium will somehow ruin our “family atmosphere” but allowing people to get drunk in the parking lot doesn’t.

No reason to serve 20 dollar beer during a game. Yes as a younger fan I loved to indulge in some brown water before and at halftime. But about 10 years ago I quit drinking before or during games. Yes I am 64 and my wife had a say so but I don't need it to get me fired up for the team or enjoying our absolutely incredible atmosphere. I brought a Pitt grad and dear friend with his 8 year old son when we lost that game to Pitt but still won the championship. I remember my friend talking to his wife and saying what an incredible family atmosphere they have in Clemson. This was priceless. May we never lose our way. Clemson in the fall with family and kids and your friends and oh by the way a football game is special. I disagree with the secs slogan. Most of us just care about our families and our school and yes the ACC. Go Tigers! '82
