I'm not defending or detracting from either Trump or Biden here, but whatever that disclosure is, it's not fraud. "Literally", as you say, it's not fraud. Don't go tin foil hat to accuse someone of being that.
I wouldn't pay a nickel to a fund to challenge an election - if I gave to campaigns, which I don't - unless hard evidence is available. Nor would I donate to pay off any campaign debt. But both are done, neither is fraudulent.

Sure. I understand what you’re saying. But my point is that this is not clear unless you read the fine print, which many would consider to be in a way “tricking” his donors. They are under the impression, unless they read the fine print, that this money is going towards funding a movement to get recounts. Not to pay off his debts.

I would assume that any money given to a "recount" effort will probably go toward other campaign expenses. Recounts and court challenges are part of the entire election process.
As a thinking and rational person, I would then choose whether or not to give. I have chosen to give $0.
But I appreciate the fine print letting us know where the money is going.
